The Qamar Project is a testament to our vision of creating meaningful impact through entrepreneurship. With every purchase, customers aren't just acquiring a garment; they're joining us on a journey of social change and community empowerment.
A key feature of of this project is its innovative profit-sharing framework. With a hoody costing $33 to produce, $33 of the $40 retail price is reinvested into creating another hoody. Of the $7 profit per hoody, 40% ($3) is allocated to Muslims in Space as a fair ROI, while 60% ($4) is donated to a local mosque for community initiatives. As production costs decrease, the mosque's share increases to a maximum 80/20 split, demonstrating our commitment to social impact.
Muslims in Space seeks to catalyze similar initiatives among other Muslim brands, encouraging them to integrate their own versions of The Qamar Project. This initiative aims to standardize a model where brands offer a single service or product structured similarly to TQP, promoting social change and community empowerment.
